These terms («User Terms«) apply to anyone accessing the ‘Master Employee’-service (the «Service«) provided by Master Employee AS (the «Supplier«).
The persons accessing the Service is hereafter referred to as a «User«. The User is only allowed to
access the Service on behalf of an entity that has an agreement in place with the Supplier granting such access rights.
1. Permitted use
Users are permitted to access and use the Service strictly in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations and for the purpose of analyzing and interpreting business documents. Users are
responsible for ensuring that their use of the Service is ethical, lawful, and in accordance with the
intended purpose.
2. Prohibited use
The User may not use the Service or upload content to the Service in a manner that it reasonably
should understand may have a negative impact on the Master Employee AS or other users of the
Service. This is including, but is not limited to the following:
- Users must not use the Service in any way that infringes or violates the legal rights of others,including intellectual property rights, privacy rights, and contractual rights. This includes but isnot limited to the unauthorized sharing or dissemination of copyrighted material, trade secrets,or confidential information.
- Users are responsible for ensuring that the data used in the Service can legitimately beuploaded and used in the Service, bearing in mind any usage restrictions governing the data,and also bearing in mind applicable GDPR legislation, AI legislation and other relevant legislation. Users are also responsible for deleting or removing data to ensure compliance with applicable data processing and/or GDPR legislation.
- Users are strictly prohibited from disassembling, decompiling, reverse engineering, orattempting to discover any part of the source code or underlying components of the Service. Such activities are considered a violation of the Service’s security and intellectual property rights.
- Users must not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service, includingsystems, networks, or data that they are not expressly permitted to access. Any such attemptswill be treated as a security breach and may result in immediate suspension or legal action.
- Users must not gather information about the Service or in any other way exploit the Servicewith the aim of creating a competing or similar service.
3. Intellectual property rights
The Supplier or its licensors own and retain all rights, title, and interest in and to the Service, including but not limited to software, functionality, technology, algorithms, processes, and any related documentation or materials. Users are prohibited from copying, modifying, distributing, or creating derivative works based on the Service or any part of it. Users are prohibited from distributing knowledge or insights related to the Service, to other parties. Any unauthorized use of the Service’s intellectual property may result in legal action.
4. Data privacy
The Supplier is committed to protecting the privacy of Users and ensuring the confidentiality of all personal data. This commitment includes compliance with applicable data protection laws and regulations, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Users acknowledge and agree that they are solely responsible for ensuring that any personal data they upload to the Service complies with applicable privacy regulations, and this includes obtaining necessary consents from data subjects and ensuring that data is processed lawfully and ethically. The Supplier has implemented technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss, or destruction. Users must ensure to safeguard their access credentials and monitor their accounts for any unauthorized use.
5. Warranty Disclaimer
- No representations and warranties are given by the Supplier to the Users. The Services provided under this Agreement are provided «as is» and “as available,” without any representation or warranty of fitness for a particular purpose, availability, up-time, or accuracy of information.
- The Users acknowledges that the output from the Service may not be complete and/or accurate. The Users must investigate the correctness and completeness of all output, and Users may not solely rely on any output for its decision-making or otherwise.
- The Supplier does not make any representations, warranties, or conditions regarding the use or the results of the use of the Services, in terms of their accuracy, reliability, timeliness, completeness, or otherwise.
6. Consequences for breach
In the event of a breach of these User Terms, the Supplier reserves the right to take immediate action, which may include:
- Suspension of the User’s access to the Service.
- Termination of the User’s access to the Service.
- Legal action to recover damages or seek injunctive relief.

7. Governing law and dispute resolution
The governing law for these User Terms and any disputes arising out of or related to the use of the Service will be as specified in the agreement between the entity (Customer) on whose behalf the User is accessing the Service and the Supplier. If no such agreement exists, the governing law will be the laws of Norway and Oslo District Court shall be the legal venue for matters that cannot be resolved
amicably.
